Greetings Everyone, The updates just keep coming. I've added some photos made this morning of Landon's gifts that he received last night at his Gammy's house and this morning from Santa. Look on the Christmas 2009 page for the additions. * * * * * * * Below this point is from the previous update of December 24th * * * * * * * * * * Once I get started I really have trouble getting stopped. We celebrated Christmas at Matt and Kristen's house today and I have added those pictures to the Christmas 2009 page. Thanks Matt and Kristen for having us all over and being such great hosts. * * * * * * * Below this point is from the previous update of December 20th * * * * * * * * * * It's just not reasonable that someone would go eight months without updating a web site and then five days later update the recently updated site. When an event warrants it, I can get the job done. Look on the Christmas page and the Community Happenings page for the latest updates. * * * * * * * Below this point is from the previous update of December 15th * * * * * * * * * * Recently, someone pointed out that I had not
updated my web site since April. I knew that it had been a while but where
does the time go? After some consideration I realized that my updates
stopped just after Landon was born. He has been such a joy that everything
else has paled in comparison. Our house now has baby toys, a jug of nursery
water, formula, baby food jars, and an assortment of the paraphernalia
babies need. Ashley, Will, and Landon are in and about the house all
during the week and we have the pleasure of keeping Landon on a regular
basis. In other words we are in full grandparent mode. When family members live in such close
proximity and share so many neighborhood functions it is very important
that each family maintains a separate area for themselves. Although we are
in and out of each others’ houses regularly we are always careful not to
infringe on each others’ privacy. That having been said Ola and I feel
very much “at home” in Will and Ashley’s house and they feel the same in
our house. Over the past few years Ola and I had a burden placed on
us the weight and source of which depressed both of us. Luckily God
doesn't put anything on you that you cannot bear with his help and over
the past few months he has provided wonderful relief. God is good and he
has given Ola and me blessings that we once thought we would be
denied. Look on Will and Ashley's page for the Thanksgiving pictures. There’s no way I can cover all the events that have transpired since the last time I updated this site, so, I’ll just have to hit the high spots. I’ve removed and consolidated some of the web pages to decrease the overall size of the site. We welcome your comments.
