On Labor Day Kendall participated in the beauty pageant at Prattville’s Labor Day Celebration. Below are the pictures I made during that event. All of the contestants were lovely and we really enjoyed the event.

Recently, Kendall was cast as a sheep in her church's Christmas program. Her Mom and Dad pointed out that she looked somewhat like a cloud and dubbed her "Singing Cloud". The lighting in the church was not very good for digital photography but I did manage to get a couple of pictures. Kendall is standing on the bottom row on the far left. The sheep on the extreme left is sitting down. The sheep were fairly good about staying in their places for the program but if the program had been 3 minutes longer there would have been considerably fewer sheep left to sing. I originally thought that there were way too many shepherds but as the evening progressed I realized that a ratio of 4 shepherds to 1 sheep would not have been excessive.

It's not easy to tell from these pictures but the sheep have a sheep's face on their heads. The fleece is cotton balls glued onto a vest. By the end of the program it appeared there had been a shearing held on the stage and some of the sheep were picking up balls of fleece and trying to reattach it to themselves.
